Ankie Kollau from the Netherlands sent this over to us utilizing our signaturelean protein powder N-Pro, and we thought it was a great recipe to try for Thanksgiving or for the holidays.
gingerbread treats to decorate (or use pecans when you don’t have enough macros left for carbs)
Throw the pumpkin in your food processor with a pinch of water. Blend until smooth.
When smooth, heat it up in a pan on the stove.
Put in a bowl/on a plate, decorate with the gingerbread treats. I used the ones covered in chocolate (in Dutch: pepernoten).
Sprinkle with cinnamon

Nitrogen is an essential component of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins. When our body is in a state of positive nitrogen balance, it means we are consuming more nitrogen than we are excreting. Muscle growth occurs when the rate of protein synthesis exceeds the rate of protein breakdown in the body. The 9 essential amino acids are: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. These amino acids cannot be synthesized by the body and must be obtained through the diet - with either whole food or supplementation.
